What Consulting Services Are Available?

Primus Care will work in collaboration with your organization’s administration, governing body, and/or legal counsel in providing service designed to meet your specific need(s). All consulting services are designed to be facility-specific and can be either short or long term in nature. Mr. Larrabee can also provide your organization with other qualified professional consultants should the need arise. In today’s complex regulatory atmosphere, the need for consultant services is increasing as never before. The use of a professional consultant no longer means a reflection of a facility’s shortcomings or inabilities; the use of a consultant is now a judicious decision in the prevention of future problems.

The importance of using a qualified professional consultant is becoming more and more readily apparent as the long term care industry tries to cope with the ever increasing intricacies of governmental systems and requirements. This is exemplified by the fact many legal experts in the long term care field now strongly suggest facilities use outside expertise in constructing all survey responses, plans of correction, and requests for informal dispute resolution. These tasks alone have become so particularized in their nature and their composition has become so critical, to best protect a facility’s interests the use of outside expertise becomes a decision of wisdom.

Among the consulting services Primus Care can provide your facility are:

  • Plan of Correction Preparation
  • Resident Assessment Training including MDS, RAP’s, and Care Plans
  • Pre-survey Audits and Survey Preparations
  • HIPAA Compliance Program Development
  • Corporate Compliance Program Development
  • Creating Viable Quality Assurance Programs to Assure Compliance
  • Developing Creative Management Systems to Assure Compliance
  • Staff Development and Training
  • Temporary Facility Management
  • Marketing and Public Relations Programs
  • Budget Preparation and Assistance
  • And More!!!

What Will Consultant Services Cost?

Consultant fees are set on a project by project basis. You will know what your charges will be prior to the commencement of any project. Letters of retention are normally required.
